It is very important that your Insurer is made aware of a claim or potential claim as soon as you become aware of the matter. Failure to notify your insurer quickly could affect your policy cover, so if you're in any doubt please contact us for assistance.

If you need to notify a claim or a potential claim, please download the Claim Notification Form and submit this to us fully completed, without delay. Please provide as much information as possible to ensure any required action can be implemented quickly.

What you must not do

As soon as you are aware of the claim or potential claim, there are a few things you should not do to ensure you don't prejudice your own position or your insurers position. Please do not....

  • ...admit liability
  • ...take any action which could prejudice your Insurer's position or their ability to investigate the claim
  • ...enter into any claims correspondence without your insurers permission
  • ...settle or offer to settle
  • ...disclose your Insurers involvement or details of your professional indemnity policy
